| UV Varnishes
UV curable overprint varnishes (UV-OPV) are
used very widely in the printing and packaging industry. The liquid
UV-OPV are coated to the substrate by one of the many possible
methods and when exposed to high energy source of UV light, it
polymerizes and becomes a solid film.
Several methods of applications are possible
for UV coatings. Spot coating, window coating or patch coating
can be done using screen-printing or by the use of photopolymer
plates in offset or flexo printing machine.
Different grades of UV-OP Varnishes are available
depending on the rheology involved for the application. The UV-OP
Varnish grade also depends on the final properties that you desire
to obtain from the coating e.g. glueability, gloss etc.
JainCo manufactures UV curable overprint varnishes
for a variety of applications used in the Printing Industry as
replacement for lamination, spot coating and varnishing at very
high printing and drying speeds. These varnishes are available
for screen-printing, roller coating, varnish coating, flexo and
offset machines. They can be used on a variety of substrates like
paper, board, foil, laminates, plastic etc.
UV curable varnishes can be custom tailored
to your requirements.
